New: tracking positive elevation gain in trail running
If your trail workout includes a positive elevation gain goal, your watch now displays a gauge that fills up as you climb. You can now see in real time how many meters you still have left to climb, helping you better pace your effort throughout the workout.
Once the D+ goal is reached, the gauge continues to progress so you can keep an eye on your total elevation gain, even beyond the target.
Redesigned screens to better guide your run
The workout screens on Apple Watch have been revised to show the most useful information first. Instant pace is now highlighted to let you pace your run with a simple glance. The displayed data also automatically adapts depending on whether you are running on the road or on the trail, to show you only what is relevant.
